    Unfinished Painting of Charles Mingus

I am in need of a 5′x3′ frame for a new painting so I was planning on stripping this unfinished painting of Charles Mingus, but it’s really not that bad, so I’m thinking maybe I should just finish it. What do you think? Finish or not finish?

    1. It should definately be finished or left as it is and framed, but not scraped! The Bass is the god of string intruments.

    2. I think maybe finish it to a diagonal and do something different with the rest.

    9. I just stumbled across this through Google images while looking for a suitable Mingus pic for something else.
I like it as it is, certainly don’t scrap it. But I also like how it is unfinished. If yo could let the paint fall off to white, like a gradient from paint to unpainted perhaps? I like the look of it half painted like this. Love Mingus!!!
