(Apprently Lady Gaga got a nose job)
I found this quote from Lady Gaga on Perez Hilton:
“I would never even think about it (lip synching). The whole point to me is, if you’re gonna be number one, you better really be fucking number one. If you’re gonna be on top, you better be able to do all those things, because it’s a real privilege to be able to make music everyday, and I get away with a lot…Andy Warhol says art is what you can get away with, and I get away with a lot with my music and my clothes, and I work really hard so I could truly be a real artist for all my fans. That’s really fucked up when you lip-synch.”
Now that sounds all well and good in theory, but seeing as how Lady Gaga is (at best) a marginal singer, a pretty mediocre dancer, and is basically a poor man’s Britney Spears, her outrage seems somewhat comical. Props on name dropping Andy Warhol though. That was very sneaky clever.

On a side note, I actually like Lady Gaga’s music.

A poor man’s Britney Spears!!??? I think not! Britney Spears is just another media puppet that has been spat out by the industry, whereas Lady GaGa at least has some originality.. if she is bare and scantily clad at least she does it with style!

Lady Gaga was lip syncing on the morning show Sunrise on her first Australian visit, singing Just Dance, and admitted to it and made a public apology on tv the next day

Hey, cool article. Lady GaGa is actually a trained musician though, so to pass her off as a poor man’s britney is a total lie. I just saw her in concert last night play the piano to “Speechless” and she is GOOD. (Britney’s not trained do to a damn thing artistically)Yeah her singing isnt the caliber of Beyonce, but the dancing is pretty much at the same level..and I can say this because I was a dancer.
I’m with #7. lol!
Lady GaGa comes off as extremely enduring towards her fans. It was a very emotional concert for me and I am not even gay.

This woman’s entire public life is art, she has conscious control over her image – how can you possibly compare her to Britney Spears? She works hard at being interesting and attractive – and at producing solid content.

The guy’s post is from may of last year. Lady Gaga became much bigger since… I would think she was sort of ‘marginal’ back then. But not today.

Nice foresight, to note further Gaga writes her own songs… Miss Spears does not. I would say on this point alone Gaga is superior. I’d list away, but I think it’s best that this little monster lets it go at that.
